RIT’s Open Programs Office, Open@RIT, functions as a collaborative engine dedicated to fostering a culture of openness across the university. During this event, Stephen Jacobs, Director of Open@RIT, will tell us how the office supports the creation and distribution of open works across campus. He will describe how they foster projects by independent researchers and nonprofit organizations, and their engagement with national and international policy. This event will include a tour of the MAGIC Center, RIT’s digital sandbox for technology, art, and design.
